You’ve probably heard of Elephant Garlic, well, this is it. It’s got a lovely garlic like taste, with a rather hot finish. Great flavours!
We headed to the hills, then to the coast – unfortunately I was rather lax with taking pictures owing to having muddy hands! However, we found sea sale almost ready to start sprouting, sea spinach, wild horseradish, wild parsnips, and wild leeks (Also known as elephant garlic)
Now time to go and forage a fish chowder from the pub!
Saw some deer, scared some ducks, got rather muddy. Back to the cabin for a cuppa, then off to Eggardon Hill, then the coast for some more exploring!
